Anatomical models in bronze for Richard Aldrich

We recently completed a fun project for New York-based artist Richard Aldrich.  He asked us to mold and cast a set of old plaster anatomical models for re-creation in bronze.  Here you can see our bronze castings on display in the Museum Dhondt-Dhaenens in Belgium.

Big crowd for our Night Pour party

We were pleased to welcome a big crowd for the party we hosted introducing the new bronzes of Maxwell Carraher. Here you can see Ian Killips, president of Art Bronze, showing how we add ceramic shell around the wax art.

"One Another" by Maxwell Carraher

We recently completed this 10' high sculpture by Los Angeles artist Max Carraher.  It will be officially unveiled at an artist's reception here at the foundry on September 24th, complete with an evening bronze pour!  Please call us for more details.

The Beauty of Gating

Gating is the "plumbing system" we use to flow molten bronze in and air out of the ceramic shells.  Sometimes, we think it can be as beautiful as the art itself.  But then we're a bit biased.

Congrats to Dougall Paulson

Sean Dougall and Andrew Paulson's Gamma Ray, cast here at Art Bronze, was featured in the September 2016 issue of Elle Decor as one of the world's most beautiful sconces.  Congratulations, guys!

A new edition of bronze sculptures for artist Fabio Napoleoni

Fabio is beloved for his character, Marcenivo, whom he invented years ago to console his young daughter during hospital visits.  We helped the artist bring Marcenivo to life in this edition of bronzes that realistically capture the character's humility and optimism in 3-dimensional form.

Peyton memorial bronze

We just completed this bronze sculpture to memorialize the life of a young Pennsylvania girl who passed away at the age of seven. Artist Armen Balyan sculpted this moving image of Peyton, who was never able to walk, realizing her full potential after her untimely passing.

Gorgeous custom bronze gates

We recently completed this set of gorgeous custom bronze entry gates designed by artist Mary Brogger.  Each door weighs over 400 lbs. and required work with the artist on a daily basis over the course of several weeks.  These gates will soon greet visitors at the home of a very lucky Portland homeowner.
