A setting for the world's largest ruby

Definitely one of the most interesting projects we've worked on.  Artist Mark Mothersbaugh (of Devo fame) wanted to make a satirical statement about our culture's fascination with bling.  So, he convinced his friend James Zigras, owner of the world's largest ruby, to cut its 30,000 carats into the shape of dog turd.  Then, he commissioned Art Bronze to create this polished bronze "cone" for its display here at Museum of Contemporary Art Denver.
